At 10 o’clock yesterday morning, in the academic lecture hall of the library of China University of Political Science and Law in Haidian District, Liu Changmin, a spokesperson of the school, made his first statement on the vicious incident the night before.
Liu Changmin introduced that at 6: 43 last night, in Room 201, Duansheng Teaching Building, Changping District Campus, a 2005 student from the School of Politics and Public Administration broke into the classroom and attacked Cheng Chunming, a professor of law school, with a sharp weapon, causing his death.

The suspect’s psychological test data is normal

Liu Xiqing, director of the Student Mental Health and Counseling Center of China University of Political Science and Law, said that after the incident, all the staff of the center rushed to the scene at the first time. At 8: 30 that night, the staff gave psychological counseling and comfort to 19 students at the scene. After psychological counseling, the mood of most students is basically stable. The school will conduct long-term follow-up on 19 students at the scene and 3 students in the dormitory, and conduct psychological intervention regularly. Within 3 days, provide counseling and psychological support to the students in the dormitory and class of the suspect.
Liu Xiqing said that after the incident, the school retrieved the data of psychological tests done before the establishment of Fu.
