Twitter’s latest move to change the logo prompted the price of virtual cryptocurrency dogecoin to soar that day.

Dogecoin was launched in December 2013. According to the data of Coin Market Cap, an American cryptocurrency price tracking website, dogecoin is the eighth most valuable cryptocurrency, and its current market value has exceeded $13 billion.

A few years ago, Musk began to peddle dogecoin. He often posted tweets about dogecoin, and every time he spoke, the price of the currency would rise and fall.

At the end of October 2022, Musk completed the acquisition of Twitter for $44 billion, and immediately dismissed the company’s CEO Parag Agrawal, chief financial officer Ned Siegel, legal affairs and policy director Vijaya Gard and chief legal adviser Sean Edgette. Subsequently, Musk became the CEO of the company.

In February 2023, when Musk attended the World Government Summit in Dubai, he said that he might step down as CEO of Twitter by the end of this year.

Musk said at the summit by video call: "I think the end of this year will be the right time to find someone else to run Twitter." The reason he gave was that the company "should be able to be in a stable state" by then. Musk said that he needs to stabilize Twitter to ensure that the company’s financial situation is healthy and the product route design is clear.

"Is that what you spent $44 billion on?"

For Musk to replace the "Little Bluebird" logo with "Dog Head", many netizens have their brains wide open and have joined the creation.

Some netizens put "Little Bluebird" and "Dog" together, and called it "brand rebranding."

Some netizens put Musk and "Dog Head" P into the manned spacecraft, and wrote, "Everything is ready, ready to take off!"

Some netizens joked, "Let the little bluebird fly, you are too noisy!"

However, some netizens expressed their incomprehension and wrote, "Is this what you spend 44 billion dollars to do?"

Some netizens wrote, "See if the US federal government agrees with your sense of humor."
