　　Li Chunlin, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, said that the scale of mass travel in Spring Festival travel rush has further increased this year, and this year is the first time that New Year’s Eve has been included as a statutory holiday, with 8 days off during the Spring Festival. The concentration of passenger flow is high before and after the Spring Festival. The National Development and Reform Commission, in conjunction with relevant departments and units, studied and planned as early as possible, comprehensively adopted a number of measures, and tried its best to meet the travel needs of the masses. It mainly includes four aspects: increasing transportation capacity, guiding travel, ensuring smooth flow and optimizing service.

　　The first is to increase transportation capacity. The railway adopts the methods of increasing passenger trains and high-speed trains at night, so as to tap the potential of increasing transportation, and at the same time ensure the operation of public welfare "slow trains" in remote areas, not only to ensure the point-to-point passenger transportation in cities, but also to ensure the travel of ordinary people in poor areas. It is estimated that more than 14,000 passenger trains will be arranged every day during Spring Festival travel rush, and the passenger capacity will increase by about 4% year-on-year. Civil aviation increased the capacity supply of popular airports and hot routes, with an average daily flight plan of about 18,500 flights, up 8.4% year-on-year. Highways play an important role in "covering the bottom" and dynamically allocate passenger lines. The waterway will increase the capacity of key routes such as Qiongzhou Strait.

The cultural tourism department combines the weather and travel characteristics before and after the Spring Festival to guide tourists to arrange their trips reasonably. Trade union organizations actively negotiate with employers about the starting time and holiday time, and organize migrant workers to return home safely and orderly. At the same time, actively play the role of internet travel service enterprises, timely and dynamically release information such as passenger flow and road conditions of popular destinations, and strengthen passenger travel reminders.

Give full play to the comparative advantages of different modes of transportation and the efficiency of comprehensive transportation combination, strengthen information sharing and service connection, do a good job of short-distance connection and night arrival of passengers, and smooth the "first and last mile".
