Locally approaching 40℃, the high temperature weather in China continues.

Cctv newsOn May 15th, the temperature in many places in China continued to rise and began to enter the peak period. China’s temperature above 30℃ will cover most areas of northwest, north China, south China and south China, with the highest temperature reaching or exceeding 35℃ in some areas such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, north-central Shandong and north-central Henan, and the local temperature will exceed 37℃.

Affected by the heating mass, the highest temperature in Beijing exceeded 34℃ on May 15th, which ushered in the first high temperature day this year. The Beijing Meteorological Observatory issued the first blue warning signal of high temperature this year on May 14th. The Beijing Meteorological Observatory predicts that the highest temperature in Beijing will still be around 35℃ on May 16, and there may be scattered thunderstorms, accompanied by short-term strong winds and hail, and the temperature will drop. The highest temperature on May 17th is expected to drop to around 28℃.

These days, the temperature in many places in Hebei is rising. On May 15th, Baoding ushered in the first high temperature day this year, with the highest temperature in some areas reaching 38℃. Compared with previous years, the high temperature days have been advanced.

city residentsI feel a little hot today, so I put on all my summer clothes.

On May 15th, Shandong ushered in the first hot weather after summer. It is estimated that the highest temperature in Jinan, Zibo and Dongying is about 37℃, and the local temperature can reach 39℃. In Zibo, a variety of working vehicles have been used locally. By increasing the amount and frequency of sprinkling water, the air humidity is increased and the dust on the ground is reduced.

Sanitation worker Wang LixiangIf the temperature continues to rise, we will increase the operation time of the fog gun truck until 11 pm.

The high temperature has also brought severe challenges to outdoor workers. In Wucheng and Laixi, Shandong, targeted measures have been taken to ensure the health and safety of outdoor workers.

Xu Shaohua, Shandong Laixi Garden Service CenterWe adjusted the sanitation operation time in time. When the temperature reached above 35℃, we reduced manual outdoor operation and increased the frequency of mechanical operation. At the same time, we have joined more than 70 caring merchants in the city and built more than 30 sanitation rest rooms to facilitate everyone to rest and enjoy the cool.

This round of hot weather, everyone feels earlier than in previous years, so is this the case? How long will the hot weather last? Let’s look at the interpretation of meteorological analysts of the Central Meteorological Observatory.

Meteorologist Hu XiaoAt present, the north of our country is experiencing the first round of large-scale high temperature weather this year. The biggest feature of this round of high temperature weather process is dry heat. With the gradual eastward movement of a high-pressure extrusion area, the high temperature gradually appears, and the weather in the extrusion area is sinking and warming, and it is sunny in partly cloudy.

This round of high temperature weather process is relatively early than normal. Among the cities, Zhengzhou had its first high temperature day on May 14th, and Tianjin and Jinan on May 15th. On May 16th, high temperature may also occur in Shijiazhuang and Beijing, about half a month earlier than normal.

In this round of high temperature weather, the power of dry heating air mass is very strong, so the night temperature is also very high. In the early morning of May 16th, the lowest temperature in Jinan was around 26℃, which was much higher than normal and relatively rare in the same period of history.

This round of high temperature weather process will not last long. Starting from late May 16th, with the cold air moving eastward and southward, the high temperature weather process will gradually dissipate from north to south.

Need to remind everyone that although the high temperature lasts for a short time, there is enough energy in the atmosphere. When cold air comes, there may be a large range of convective weather. In late May 16th, there may be thunderstorms, strong winds and even hail in Tongliao and Chifeng in Inner Mongolia, northern Liaoning, central and eastern Jilin and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.

By May 17, there may be obvious convective weather in eastern Hebei and northern Shandong, which may be the most extensive and strongest convective weather process in the southeast and north China in recent years. Remind everyone to take precautions in advance.
